The New Zealand School of Education (NZSE) is the only education provider that offers a pathway course leading to a full degree at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT). Once students have completed the two-year Diploma of Information Technology at NZSE, they can apply for direct entry into the final year of study at AUT to achieve the Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences (BCIS) degree.
NZSE and Unitec have signed an agreement to offer a pathway course into the Unitec Bachelor of Computing Systems. Students who successfully complete the Diploma in Information Technology pathway course with NZSE, will be eligible for direct entry into the final year of the Bachelor of Computing Systems offered at Unitec.
