1 How do I enrol for a course at NZSE?
  You will need to fill in an application form and send all documents to the Recruitment Team.If all your documents are in order you will be issued a "Conditional offer of Place" letter.On fulfilling all the requirements in this "Conditional Offer of Place" you will be issued a "Final Offer" confirming a reserved study place at NZSE.Detailed information about NZSE including application form is available in the International Student Handbook which is available on the NZSE website.
   
2 How long will it take for my application to be processed ?
  Generally applications are processed within 3 working days provided all the documents are in order
   
3 When can I start as a student with NZSE?
  Most courses commence each month at NZSE.However all international students must have an Offer of Place from NZSE and a vaild student visa for NZSE.
   
4 What documents will I require from NZSE to apply for a student visa?
  Generally you will need a "Final offer of Place" & fee receipt confirming payment of tuition fee to apply for a student visa.Students from India & China can apply for a student visa with a "Conditional offer of Place"
   
5 Are there any English language requirement for admission to NZSE courses?
  All courses currently offered by NZSE have different English language requirements starting from IELTS score of 5.0 Academic or equivalent
   
6 Where can I get information on how to apply for a student visa?
  Please visit the New Zealand Immigration Service website for more information about applying for a student visa at www.immigration.govt.nz
   
7 Am I eligible to work while I am studying?
  Under the current Immigration Policy International students at NZSE who are undertaking a full-time course of study culminating in a qualification that would qualify for points under the Skilled Migrant Category are eligible to work for 20 hours a week for the duration of the course.International students are generally allowed to work full time in summer holidays.
   
8 What will be my annual living cost in New Zealand?
  The total cost depends on each individual's spending habits.However between $10000 to $14000 would be sufficient for accomodation, transport, food & some entertainment
   
9 Can I apply for a work permit on completion of my course ?
  Under the current Immigration policy international students who have successfully completed in New Zealand a qualification that would qualify for points under the Skilled Migrant Category qualify to apply for a 12 month Graduate Job Search visa(open work permit).
   
10 Can I apply for New Zealand Permanent Residency ?
  If you meet the requirements of the current immigration policy in New Zealand it is possible for you to apply for residency at any time.In particular the current immigration policy encourages students who have completed their qualificationin New Zealand to apply for permanent residence.
   
11 English is my second language,how can I improve my communication skills?
  Meet & interact with Kiwis.Listen to Radio,join Waitakere Library and read,read,read! Joining Toastmasters is a fabulous way to meet Kiwis and improve your communication and leadership skills.There are many clubs accross Auckland,some very close to NZSE.
