This programme is designed to develop in-depth knowledge and skills in the field of Networking including planning, configuring, deploying, testing and maintaining networks on a variety of platforms; build on the core skills in the areas of communication, professional and ethical practice, problem solving and decision making in information technology context learnt in previous IT studies; develop the skills and knowledge needed to enter into the workforce in an entry level role in network administration or support; provide a pathway to further study or work in information technology, business or other industries. 

Academic Entry Criteria: A computing certificate in Level 5 or equivalent knowledge,
skills and experience.

English Entry Criteria: International students whose first language is not English
must provide evidence of competency in English language equivalent to IELTS
6.0 (Academic) with no band less than 5.5 or successful completion of NZSE’s
Internal English Test.

120 credits with 7 papers

• Diploma in Computing Level 7 at NZSE
