Full time jobs

On graduation our students go into Desktop Support, Support Analyst, Systems Administrator, IT/Computing Sales and IT Technician roles in a wide range of organizations, including private companies which provide computer, database and network services to clients, government departments and telecommunication companies. NZSE graduates are eligible for a 12 month Graduate Job Search Work Permit. After they have started working, the graduate can apply for a one or two year work permit depending on the length of contract offered by the employer, which can be used by the employee to apply for his/her residency. The employer does not have to complete section 3 of the Employer Supplementary Form, which asks them to prove they have made genuine efforts to recruit NZ citizens or residents, because the employee is converting a Graduate Job Search Work Permit to a Work Permit.

Work experience

Maybe you can offer a student some work experience in the IT field. Students can help with one off projects or ongoing assignments.
