Keeping yourself free from stress and anxiety is key in helping you get through this difficult period. Please talk to student support and your tutor on how you are feeling so we can help you through the process. For professional support, your family doctor is a good starting point.
You can visit The Lowdown website which has information to help young New Zealanders recognise and understand depression or anxiety. Use the free text service - text 5626.
For support with grief, anxiety, distress or mental well-being, you can also call or text the 'Need to talk?' service on 1737. This service is free, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and gives you the chance to talk it through with a trained counsellor.
