Technical support is a crucial factor in the success of all businesses. This programme will broaden your understanding of just how critical this area of IT and Business Technologies is by up-scaling your core knowledge in the key fundamentals of today’s technology. You’ll be more than just an entry-level operator, you’ll have an awareness of IT environments, appreciate the needs of users, and be able to provide the full gamut of technical support, advice and participate in team discussions about next-step solutions.
This qualification prepares students for the following international certifications: CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA and ITIL Foundation.

- English Requirements (International students): IELTS Academic score of 5.5 with no band less than 5.0 or other NZQA approved criteria.

This programme requires students to have access to a laptop/desktop that can connect to the internet with a web browser and a required minimum screen size of 10 inches. For device specifications, please talk to your Course Advisor.

Graduates of this qualification will have the skills and knowledge to work in the IT industry in a range of entry level roles. The scope of the qualification outcomes matches requirements for IT support roles at Tier 1.
