Out of school and looking for your next step? Then this programme is for you. Our Foundation Studies course will equip you with the necessary tools to help you pathway into higher studies or employment in heaps of different entry-level roles.
What you can learn
Goal setting, study and strategies
Learn how to identify personal career and study goals and adapt strategies to achieve them. You will also learn an introduction to the Treaty of Waitangi, Tikanga Maori, and Te Reo Maori and how they relate to your studies
Introduction to business administration
Gain introductory knowledge of business administration. Learn basic knowledge of business communications, customer service skills and how today's business software works.
Academic, mathematics and problem-solving skills
Further develop your academic, mathematics and problem solving skills to help prepare you for a pathway to university.
Utilising digital tools
Hands-on practical knowledge to you become comfortable with using digital technology for academic purposes.

- English Requirements (International students): IELTS Academic score of 5.5 with no band less than 5.0 or other NZQA approved criteria.
