A day of learning beyond the classroom: NZSE College's ANZAC commemoration event brought students from all campuses together at the Auckland Domain.

May 29, 2023

ANZAC commemorations brought students from all campuses together at the Auckland Domain. The day started with our ATC students demonstrating military drills, followed by a scavenger hunt which guided students through Auckland War Memorial Museum and New Zealand’s war histories. The day’s events concluded with a sausage sizzle and fun sports games, completing a rewarding experience of extended learning outside the classroom. Nga mihi to our student support team for organising this ANZAC event and providing the opportunity for our students to learn key parts of New Zealand history. Further thanks goes toward all the staff members who supported over 200 students throughout the day, from catering to organising activities.

A video of the day's events can be found here.

Every year, ATC holds an annual competition where all students from our three campuses: Manukau, Waikato, and Waitakere, come together to compete for the top honours within ATC.

The ATC Terminator Challenge is designed to be fun and exciting, whilst also testing the physical, mental, and strategic potential of our students to achieve success as a team. It has been two long years on hold, but the challenge makes its 2022 comeback with drill and circuit challenges, endurance sports, team work strategy, tug-of-war and so much more.

This year we will hold our ATC Terminator Event on Thursday 27th October 2022 at:

  • Parade and drill competition: Shadbolt Park - Suburbs Rugby Club, 130 Portage Rd, New Lynn,
  • Terminator physical challenge: Motu Moana Scout Camp, 140 Connaught St, Blockhouse Bay

You are invited!
