SENZ- a charitable trust established since 1998 has a proven track record in getting people trained and into employment by assisting them to find and apply for work or training and supporting them to complete their training through funding initiatives.
NZSE College provides study options ranging from foundation, Military Prep and certificate courses to Diploma level studies in IT and Health and Wellbeing. Many of the programmes NZSE College offer are fully government funded – especially under the government’s Youth Guarantee scheme.
The aim of both organisations is to empower people to reach their educational, employment and career goals – whether they’re starting out, looking to up-skill or aiming for a completely new career path.
In this new partnership SENZ will identify clients that are 15 years of age and older who are of Pacific heritage and NEET (Not in Education or Employment) and refer them on to NZSE College – vice-a-versa – NZSE College will identify the same candidates and connect them to SENZ prior to them starting their NZSE College course. This can allow those who may fall outside the provision of Government funding an opportunity to be otherwise financially supported.
Both SENZ and NZSE College understand that supported learners are more successful in their studies and in connecting with employers – in this regards SENZ also provides one-on-one coaching and mentoring to students for one year even after graduation.
SENZ have already assisted students in NZSE’s School of ATC Military Prep and Security programmes with financial support and guidance and have also enrolled many others into their free 3-week preparation for work programme.
“It’s exciting and rewarding to be able to provide support that allows people to succeed – whether that’s learning valuable new skillsets or gaining confidence through employment opportunities.”
- Kate Treadaway – NZSE Student Support Manager is cognizant of the impact these services have on students and learners.

Every year, ATC holds an annual competition where all students from our three campuses: Manukau, Waikato, and Waitakere, come together to compete for the top honours within ATC.
The ATC Terminator Challenge is designed to be fun and exciting, whilst also testing the physical, mental, and strategic potential of our students to achieve success as a team. It has been two long years on hold, but the challenge makes its 2022 comeback with drill and circuit challenges, endurance sports, team work strategy, tug-of-war and so much more.
This year we will hold our ATC Terminator Event on Thursday 27th October 2022 at:
A terminator challenge is an event the whole family can enjoy.
