NZSE’s School of Health & Wellbeing delivers what the community wants – online study at Level 3

NZSE’s School of Health & Wellbeing delivers what the community wants – online study at Level 3

NZSE is pleased to announce that it has been approved to offer its popular NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) programme via online delivery from May 2021 - (it will also remain available face-2-face/blended for those who wish to study offline).

Access has often been a barrier for those working and yet wanting to move from their Level 2 Health & Wellbeing qualification to Level 3. Making the most of NZSE’s modern digital platforms means students can earn and learn and it’s a win-win for them and the communities they’re serving. Aged Healthcare in New Zealand continues to be an evolving and extremely large and diverse sector – meaning jobs and growth for those in the industry.

Head of School Sadia Faisal expressed this about the change to the delivery;

"It will make the programme more accessible and allow people in Auckland and Waikato to participate and build on their knowledge and skills without hindering their employer or incurring travel and parking costs. It also shows that we understand what our students and community is looking for from a modern educational provider like NZSE."

Our NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) is fully funded under the Targeted Training and Apprenticeships Fund (TTAF). The TTAF fund is dedicated to supporting domestic learners in undertaking vocational education and training without fees on selected programmes until 31 December 2022.

Every year, ATC holds an annual competition where all students from our three campuses: Manukau, Waikato, and Waitakere, come together to compete for the top honours within ATC.

The ATC Terminator Challenge is designed to be fun and exciting, whilst also testing the physical, mental, and strategic potential of our students to achieve success as a team. It has been two long years on hold, but the challenge makes its 2022 comeback with drill and circuit challenges, endurance sports, team work strategy, tug-of-war and so much more.

This year we will hold our ATC Terminator Event on Thursday 27th October 2022 at:

  • Parade and drill competition: Shadbolt Park - Suburbs Rugby Club, 130 Portage Rd, New Lynn,
  • Terminator physical challenge: Motu Moana Scout Camp, 140 Connaught St, Blockhouse Bay

You are invited!

A terminator challenge is an event the whole family can enjoy.
