Tech Week events were in full swing at NZSE College on Wednesday. To acknowledge this annual event in Aotearoa, our School of IT and Business Technologies ran an engaging day of events to showcase what the tech world has to offer. NZSE College tutors nurtured the IT minds of the future as students partook in workshops in Software Development, Cybersecurity and Cloud Network Technology. Guest speakers from across the IT industry, including past students, shared their experiences and insights into an ever-growing field to gear our students up for their careers. Many valuable things were learned about the IT industry. If our students took away one thing this Tech Week, it is that there is an exciting future in the world of IT ahead of them.A big thank you to our guest speakers Tracy Higgott and Shona Cathro from Lexel, Dan Te Whenua Walker from Microsoft and Ananth Venkateswarlu from Workday; our past students Pankaj Prashar, Rupali Kamble, Laila Shihada, Tatiane Rodrigues and Marvin Coronel; and our IT and Business Technologies staff for coming together for Tech Week 2023.
Every year, ATC holds an annual competition where all students from our three campuses: Manukau, Waikato, and Waitakere, come together to compete for the top honours within ATC.
The ATC Terminator Challenge is designed to be fun and exciting, whilst also testing the physical, mental, and strategic potential of our students to achieve success as a team. It has been two long years on hold, but the challenge makes its 2022 comeback with drill and circuit challenges, endurance sports, team work strategy, tug-of-war and so much more.
This year we will hold our ATC Terminator Event on Thursday 27th October 2022 at:
